Square Enix releases Final Fantasy Digital Card Game at CES 2019

CES 2019 has focused the consumers’ attention on different ends, while Square Enix quietly announced the free-to-play Final Fantasy Digital Card Game. The Final Fantasy Digital Card Game will be available in both PC and smartphone platforms. The demand for one of the best role-playing games ever has now turned into a card game in which, you can make your own decks that consists of various characters, monsters, and summons from the Final Fantasy series. These characters, when placed on the grid, will show up as 16-bit sprites. You will be able to level up your cards. You may also customize your character where the in-game micro-transactions is expected to come in. The game will likely require you to pay if you want stronger cards or new characters. This is, of course, if leveling up is no longer fun for you. Every battle won’t cost you so much time. The battle mechanics only limits to 12 turns along with a time limit every turn. Overall, the game will look like a 16-bit diorama due to its 16-bit character graphics and castle backdrops. For now, Square Enix has not provided to full details of the game yet. It said that it will be running a closed beta test from January 18to 25. If you want to be the first people to try the game, you may proceed to the Final Fantasy Digital Card Game official website to register. The beta will accept a maximum number of 10,000 players. The game is also expected to launch in the Yahoo! Japan Game Plus Platform later this year, or probably after the closed beta test. It is still unconfirmed whether Square Enix will release it on other regions, but fans surely hope the developer will. There are numerous Final Fantasy titles in the mobile world. Some of them are not yet released globally but are already in the process. We can now add Final fantasy Digital Card Game to the queue.
