More Android L Release Date Details Leaked: Features, Compatibility and Performance
3 min read
It was unlike Google to reveal the upcoming version of Android much before its actual launch. But having revealed the Android 5 or Android L in June itself, it has only succeeded in fueling a lot of speculation about its actual release, features and performance. There have been different names for the system going around as well. All of this have been gathering momentum since June and continues even today. Maybe Google wanted this pre launch interest to keep developing and peak just at the time of the launch that is now expected around October or November.
Information That Has Since Leaked
Those in the know about the new Android L has said it would be the safest and most advanced system till now. It has many new introductions and features that are sure to appeal to users of Android till now. Bright colors, a lot of animation, 3D effects, fresh designs and improved security are some of the aspects credited to the Android L.
When the beta sample was released in June and those present at the Google I/O got a first look at it, they believed it would only be launched with the Google brand Nexus smart phones. Since then, it has been known that apart from the Nexus, HTC and Motorola too would be among the first to have the Android L on their flagship phones. The recently launched Android One phones by Google too would have access to the Android L. It is believed that the HTC Nexus 9 tablets that would be launched on 16th October would run on Android L.
It is expected that the release of Android L would be with the launch of two more Nexus devices and this will happen around Halloween. This system will also enable the user to have separate user accounts and that will make it easier for parents to have separate kid's accounts, business accounts and personal usage accounts.
Security Enhanced
Most importantly, smart phones with the Android L will now have data encryption by default. There have been some issues with Android security in all of its previous operating systems despite the fact that users could enable the encryption feature if they wished to. But due to poor consumer education and the fact it was not available by default; the feature was not used at all. Android L will get around this issue by providing disk encryption as a default feature so that the user does not have to bother activating it by him. The feature will make it very difficult for any hacker to access the device. The month of October is expected to see the launch of the Android L. Users who have had the patience to wait from June will certainly find it has been worth it. The Android L with its Material Design, improved security, no bloatware and enhanced battery life will make the Android experience a very engaging one.One Click Root Author
