I consider myself well-versed with Android technology, although I didn’t know the answer to several of the questions asked. I didn’t know that Android was started by a company outside of Google called Android, Inc., for example, before being acquired by the tech giant in 2005. The main founders of that company stayed on as Google employees and were able to turn a few thousand lines of code into the OS we know and love today.

-The first Android-based device designed by Google was called the Nexus One
