Consider Huawei P20 Pro as Your Next Travel Buddy
3 min read
There are awesome phones, and there are so-so phones. But, which phone is fit for traveling?
Travelling can be fun, but a useless phone can easily ruin your mood. When deciding your travel phone, there are many things to consider such as camera, battery, and durability. However, these three traits are rarely seen in a single phone. In most cases, you end up bringing another device to fill in the lacking features of your phone. While there are many photography phones out there, one has caught our attention that promises amazing results. So, what makes Huawei P20 the perfect phone for travel? Fantastic Camera The Huawei P20 doesn’t stand out that much in its camera features really. It’s just the first phone to feature three imaging sensor that sums up to 68MP overall! It has a 40MP camera, 20MP monochrome sensor, and 8MP telephoto lenses with 3x lossless zoom. Talk about Instagram-worthy shots! A test was conducted previously to see how impressive the P20’s camera is. As expected, it stood out from the batch of Android phones released this 2018. It also showed better results in a low-light environment, which smartphones camera have been competing today on who’s got the better low-light feature. That’s all thanks to the P20 AI who does a good job in picking the right mode. Long-Lasting Battery One of the common problems in traveling is no access to a charging station, or electricity for that matter, especially if you’re going through off-beaten tracks. The P20 battery can last around 4-5 hours of use time even with mobile data turned on throughout the journey. 4 hours might not be that impressive, but it’s enough since most of today’s Android phones can’t last that long with the data on. Plus, Huawei’s fast charging standard is also great. It will allow you to charge your phone over 60% percent in just an hour. Visible Display on Direct Sunlight Can’t see your screen display on broad daylight? The P20 has got the right solutions for that. You don’t have to worry about looking for a shade just to navigate your phone. Simply adjust the screen brightness to its peak to make the display visible. Additionally, the vibrant screen colors act as an excellent contrast to light. The Downside Nothing is perfect, and the P20 Pro also has its downside you might want to watch out. The recent tests prove that the Huawei P20 can easily bend just like the old iPhones. So, don’t place it in a tight pocket because when it bends, the screen immediately cracks knowing that Huawei has stopped promoting the use of Gorilla Glass. It is also not that waterproof and scratchproof. Avoid using P20 on rainy days or during mountain climbing where sharp rocks are present. Moreover, even though its camera stands out, we found some lacking features that the company should have added like the wide lens. That would be perfect for travel in capturing landscape scenes. But, that’s just a minor quibble. Huawei P20 is still our first choice for traveling. One Click Root Author
