How to Increase the Maximum Volume of the Galaxy Note 3
2 min read
The Note 3 is already a loud smartphone. But some people would like their songs and videos to be even louder.
Today, we’re going to show you exactly how to increase the maximum volume of your Galaxy Note 3 in just a few simple steps.
Step 1) Download the mod file from the XDA Developers Forum here
Step 2) Flash that file using any custom recovery tool
That’s it! You don’t need to install any APK file or add any sound files to your ROM. There are a number of different sound modification files available in the thread linked above, including a Very Loud, Moderate, and Moderate Lite sound pack. There’s also a sound pack that allows you to revert your Galaxy Note 3 to the stock sound settings.
These mods will increase the volume of your Note 3’s speakers and they can also increase the volume for sounds played through external devices – like Bluetooth speakers. It also works for phone calls, video calls, ringers, and most other sounds on your device.
Early versions of this file carried some distortion noises, although that doesn’t seem to be as much of a problem with later releases.

This same process works to increase the volume on the Sony Xperia Z1. You can find the necessary download file at the XDA Developers Forum here. Once again, just download that file and flash it using any custom recovery tool. One Click Root Author
